Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. Signed on Jan. 1, 2021.
Shift premium: $0.45 per hour for afternoon shift; $0.50 per hour for night shift, graveyard shift. $1 per hour for each straight-time hour worked on Saturday, Sunday. $3.75 per hour (previously $250 per hour) for employee working in Snow Lake and not living in employer-subsidized accommodation.
Paid holidays: 11 days, including second Monday in June in each year.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Time may be banked.
Meal allowance: $15 or meal after 3 hours of overtime.
Medical benefits: Extended health services will be reimbursed, maximum $500 per year per family on 50% coverage basis for services used.
Dental: 100% reimbursement for basic services (diagnostic services, preventive services, restorative services, simple extractions and prosthetic services (repair of damaged dentures) and to include routine examinations as frequently as every 6 consecutive months); 60% reimbursement for intermediate services, endodontic services, periodontal services, prosthodontic services (removable), prosthodontic services fixed (bridges), oral surgery (combined maximum $2,250 per person, per calendar year).
Vision: $300 per member every 24 months.
AD&D: Coverage of $45,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $45,000.
Bereavement leave: 10 days for death of spouse, son, daughter. 5 days for death of mother, father, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, spouse’s grandmother, spouse’s grandfather, grandchild, any relative residing in employee’s household.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months after layoff.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay of 40 straight-time hours for each year of service.
Mileage: $0.40 per kilometre if employee uses own vehicle when called to work at outlying mines.
