Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2024. Signed on Jan. 17, 2019.

Shift premium: Time and one-half for all work between midnight Friday and noon Saturday. Double time for all work between noon Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday. $1 per hour for lead-hands.

Paid holidays: 11 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 23 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 9 hours per day or 44 hours per week for employees in maintenance department. Drivers employed on runs greater than 150 miles, will receive, in lieu of overtime, bonus per day ($69.12, (previously $66.78) increasing each anniversary year by $1) for complete shifts worked between midnight Friday and 7 p.m. Sunday or 7 p.m. on statutory general holiday.

Pension: Employer will deduct $2.15 per hour for establishing personal retirement pension, but payment is at sole discretion and responsibility of employee to do so.

Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchild, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law). 1 day for death of grandparent, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, stepbrother, stepsister, stepparents.

Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.

Probationary period: 90 calendar days.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years; 10 years for reports on accidents involving moving vehicles.

Safety shoes: $150 per year (previously $130 per year), with $10 increase each contract-year anniversary.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply 5 pairs of summer gloves, 5 pairs of winter gloves to employees as required. Shop employees will be supplied, and have cleaned, 5 pairs of coveralls per week (1 per day) at employer’s expense. 1 winter parka every 2 years will be supplied to maintenance employees. Raincoats will be available in shop for use by maintenance employees.

Tool allowance: $225 per year (previously $200 per year) for mechanics.

Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after $5-per-hour increase):

Drivers: $24.85 rising 5 steps to $29.85

Truck and coach 310T: $29.10 rising 5 steps to $34.10

Sample rates of per-mile pay (current, after 20% increase):

Drivers (runs greater than 150 miles): $0.544 rising 5 steps to $0.653

Editor’s notes: Medical examinations: Any medical examination requested by employer will be promptly complied with, provided employer will pay for all examinations. If required to submit to mandatory drug testing, 100% of cost will be paid for by employer for both U.S. Department of Transportation and domestic pools. Layovers: $30 per day (previously $25 per day), increasing each anniversary year by $5, if company supplies tractor units with sleeper berths.
