Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2018, to Feb. 28, 2020. Signed on Feb. 28, 2018.
Shift premium: $9 for general foreman (previously 30%). $7 for foreman 1 (previously 20%). $5 for foreman 2. $3 for lead-hand (previously 7%). $2 for dual-ticket (2 Alberta or red-seal journey person-tickets hired to use both tickets or performs both tasks). $1 for level 1. $2 for level 2. $3 for level 3. $4 for level 4. $5 for level 5. $1 for steward. $1.25 for steward with toolbox 1. $1.50 for steward with toolbox 2. $1.75 for steward with toolbox 3. $3 for chief steward. $3 for night-shift. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 6% on each paycheque.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 
Meal allowance: Employer will provide meal for employees who work more than 12 hours per day.
Medical benefits: Employer contributes $1.71 per hour to health and welfare fund. 
Dental: Basic services: 100%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Major services: 50%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. 
Vision: $300 per year for persons younger than 19; $300 every 2 years for persons older than 19.
LTD: 60% of earnings, maximum $2,600 per month, payable after 119 days.
AD&D: Coverage of $100,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $100,000.
Pension: Employer will contribute 2%, employee will contribute 2% to CLAC Pension Plan. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, legal dependent, parents, parents-in-law, legal guardian, brother, sister, grandparents, grandchildren.
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Severance: Employer will supply employees with gloves, hearing protection, non-prescription safety glasses, shields, goggles, fire-retardant coveralls, rain gear, particulate masks, breathing apparatuses, fall-arrest equipment.
Safety shoes: All employees will wear CSA-approved safety boots supplied by employees.
