Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2024, to Dec. 31, 2026.

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2024: 5%

Effective Jan. 1, 2025: 4%

Effective Jan. 1, 2026: 3%

Paid holidays: 11 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 21 years.  

Overtime: Double time for all hours worked in excess of 8 or ten 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week (exclusive of daily overtime).

Medical benefits:

Dental: Provided by the Plan established by the Board of Trustees.

Weekly indemnity: Provided by the Plan established by the Board of Trustees.

Sick leave: Employees with 1 continuous years’ service or more shall accumulate paid sick leave at the rate of 1/2 day per employed month to a maximum of 30 days.

LTD: Provided by the Plan established by the Board of Trustees.

AD&D: Provided by the Plan established by the Board of Trustees.

Life insurance: Provided by the Plan established by the Board of Trustees.

Pension: Teamsters’ National Pension Plan.

Bereavement leave: 3 days in the case of death of a parent, spouse, brother, sister, child, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step-children, legal guardian and grandparents which include spouses grandparents and grand-children.

Call-in pay: Any regular employee who is called out to work on a regular workday shall be paid not less than 8 or ten 10 hours pay depending on his posted shift.

Probationary period: 90 calendar days.

Severance: No contributions required.

Safety shoes: Where the company makes it a condition of employment for all employees to wear safety-toed boots, the company will supply them.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer shall provide uniform when one is required. Any employee physically handling dangerous goods shall be provided with all recommended and approved protective clothing and/or devices to perform the job safely. Maintenance shop employees shall be provided with clean coveralls.

Mileage: Mileage rates depend on axel.

Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):

5 Axle Rate: $28.60, up 3 steps to $32.17.

6 Axle Rate: $28.60, up 3 steps to $32.17.

7 Axle Rate: $28.60, up 3 steps to $32.17.

8 Axle Rate: $28.60, up 3 steps to $32.17.

Editor’s notes: A training premium of $5.00 per hour will be paid to instructional drivers while training.
