Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2024, to November 30, 2027.

Wage adjustments:

Effective June 1, 2025: 4%

Effective June 1, 2026: 4%

Shift premium: $3.00 per hour when the majority of hours are between 18:00 and 6:00.

Paid holidays: 11 days.

Vacations with pay: Vacation pay: 6% percent of base hourly rate for all hours worked. The employer will grant vacation requests subject to business needs and reasonable notification by the employee.

Overtime: Time and one half for hours worked in excess of 8 regular hours per day and 40 regular hours per week.

Medical benefits: Insurance Plan administered by the CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund.

Dental: Basic services: 100% up to $2,000 per person annual. Major services: 50% up to $2,000 per person annual. Orthodontic: 50% up to $3,000 lifetime maximum per child under 19.

Vision: Under 21: $350 per year. 21 and over: $350 every two years.

Paramedical: Massage therapy with a limit of $80/visit.

Sick leave:

STD: 60% of weekly basic earnings to a maximum of $700.00 per week. Weekly benefits, payable after the 1st day of accident or hospitalization and the 7th day of illness for a maximum of 26 weeks.

LTD: 60% of earnings, maximum of $3,000.00 per month, per employee, payable after 26 weeks until age 65.

AD&D: $100,000.00 per employee under the age of 65; $50,000 per employee aged 65 up to and including age 74.

Life insurance: $100,000.00 per employee under the age of 65; $50,000 per employee aged 65 up to and including age 74.

Pension: The Christian Labour Association of Canada (CLAC) Pension Plan.

Bereavement leave: 3 days leave.

Probationary period: 90 calendar days.

Safety shoes: All employees will wear CSA approved safety boots and appropriate clothing supplied by the employees.

Uniforms/clothing: Rig welders must supply their own flame/ spark resistant clothing.

Tool allowance: When necessary, certain tradespeople will supply their own tools common to their trade. Specialty and power tools will be provided by the employer.

Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):

Boom Truck Operator: $45.58, up two steps to $49.38.

Boilermaker: $48.00, up two steps to $52.00.

Crane Operator 60 - 100 T: $49.50, up two steps to $53.50.

Editor’s notes: Prescription drug plan for employee and family at 80% up to $1,500 per person annually (or the provincial pharmacare cap, if applicable) and 100% thereafter.
