Renewal agreement: Effective Aug. 23, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2023. Ratified on Aug. 23, 2021. Signed on Aug. 24, 2021.

Wage adjustments:

Minimum 1.25% increase to each employees current wage rate

Shift premium: $1 per hour for stewards.

Paid holidays: 9 days.

Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 6% after 5 years, 9% after 12 years. Employer will consider vacations at the times requested by the employees subject to business requirements (preference of vacation time will be given to senior employees).

Overtime: Time and one-half for all overtime hours worked. Employees required to operate commercial vehicle will be eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 10 hours daily; 50 hours in 1 week, exclusive of daily overtime. All other employees will be eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 8 hours daily; 44 hours in 1 week, exclusive of daily overtime.

Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums after probationary period ends.

Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse (including common-law spouse), child, parent, guardian, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, any person who lives with employee as member of immediate family). Further time may be given by mutual agreement between employer and employee.

Probationary period: 90 calendar days.

Safety shoes: $190 each year.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer will make available, free of charge, all necessary safety equipment as required by current occupational health and safety legislation excepting articles of personal clothing which are not returnable.
