Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2020. Ratified on May 3, 2018. Signed on Jan. 11, 2019.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Sept. 1, 2017: 0%

Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month to start, 1.25 days per month of 6% after 1 year, 1.67 days per month or 8% after 7 years, 2.08 days per month or 10% after 16 years, 2.29 days per month or 11% after 20 years, 2.5 days per month or 12% after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for each hour worked in excess of 1 FTE. May be banked, maximum 2 days, but must be used or it will be paid out by July 31 each year.
Medical benefits: Employer will provide $700 per year (previously $500 per year) for health spending account.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for ASEBP extended health care - plan 1.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for ASEBP vision care - plan 3.
Sick leave: 10 days.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan life insurance - plan 2.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of father, mother, husband, wife, son, daughter, grandchild, brother, sister, parents of spouse (including common-law spouse). Additional 2 days may be given if necessary circumstances warrant additional leave. 2 days for death of grandparent (including in-law), sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law. 1 day for death of uncle, nephew, aunt, niece, cousin, friend of employee’s family.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Probationary period: 1 year.
