Renewal agreement: Effective March 16, 2015, to March 15, 2018. Signed on March 16, 2015.

Wage adjustments:

Effective March 16, 2016: 25¢

Effective March 16, 2017: 30¢

Shift premium: 40¢ per hour for all hours worked on the second shift. 50¢ effective March 16, 2017. 50¢ per hour for all hours worked on the third shift. 55¢ effective March 16, 2017. 50¢ per hour for all hours worked on Saturday. $1 per hour for all hours worked on Sunday.

Paid holidays: 11 days and 1 floater holiday.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year of continuous service, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 9 years and 5 weeks after 15 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond employee’s regular 8-hour or 10-hour shift. Employees who work overtime on a voluntary basis can bank time in lieu of pay and will be entitled to take 1 1/2 hours off for each hour of overtime worked.

Meal allowance: $5 after 2 hours of overtime.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for health care spending account plan. $250 per 12-month period from July 1 to June 30.

Vision: Employer pays 100% of cost of safety prescription glasses every 2 years to a maximum of $250.

STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. STD benefits on a 1-1-4-52 basis to 60% of regular wages per week.

LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Employee eligible for LTD benefits after 52 weeks of STD benefits. LTD benefit will be $1,500 per month.

AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $50,000.

Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $50,000.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, spouse or child. 3 days for employee’s father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, son-in-law, daughter-in-law or grandchild. 1 day for employee’s grandparent, brother-in-law or sister-in-law.

Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at regular rate of pay.

Probationary period: 336 hours of work.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 6 months for written warnings or reprimands. 1 year for suspensions.

Safety shoes: $160 twice per year for melt room, maintenance, chipping room, wheelabrator, walk-in sandblaster, CNC employees and environmental technician/waste water operators. $160 per year for other employees.
