Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2017. Signed on Jan. 1, 2015.

Wage adjustments:

$500 signing bonus for full-time employees

$300 signing bonus for part-time employees

Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 2%

Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2%

Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.5%

Paid holidays: 10 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 7 years and 5 weeks after 20 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked on extension of shift. Employees required to work on a scheduled day off will receive a minimum credit of 3 hours paid at time and one-half.

Meal allowance: $8 after 3 hours of overtime.

Vision: $200 every 2 years.

Sick leave: 5 days per year to a maximum of 10 days.

Life insurance: $50,000 per employee.

Pension: Employer and employee contribute 3% of employee’s gross annual earning.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, parent, child or legal guardian. 3 days for employee’s brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent or grandchild. 1 day for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle or aunt.

Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ work at time and one-half.

Probationary period: 6 months for full-time employees and 1 year for part-time employees.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.

Mileage: 40¢ per km.

Sample rates of pay (current, after 2% increase):

AM morning announcer: $465 per week

FM morning announcer: $500

FM afternoon announcer: $485

Continuity writer: $465

News reporter/reader: $500

Producer: $500

AM/FM part-time announcer/operator: $10.60 per hour

Editor’s notes: Commercial remote work: $25 per hour for every hour outside of regularly scheduled work hours for full-time employees and $12 cut fees per hour including scheduled hours. $20 per hour for every hour worked for part-time employees. $25 flat fee for any employee performing the set-up and takedown of any remote. Promotional appearances: On-air personalities may be required, a maximum of once per month, to make personal promotional appearances on behalf of the station outside their normal hours of work.
