Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2025. Signed on Nov. 25, 2022.
Wage adjustments:
Effective July 1, 2022: 3.5%
Effective July 1, 2023: 2%
Effective July 1, 2024: 1.5%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for lead-hand. $1.75 per hour for all hours worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days, including National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 or 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Effective July 1, 2023: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
STD: 57% of employee’s weekly earnings (non-taxable).
LTD: Minimum coverage of $1,200 per month.
Life insurance: Minimum coverage of $20,000.
Pension: Prairie Teamsters Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in employee’s family (spouse, adult independent partner, mother, stepmother, father, stepfather, children, stepchildren, sister, brothers, grandmothers, grandfather, mother-in-law, father-in-law. 1 additional day for travel for funeral services held more than 300 kilometres from place of work. 3 unpaid days to attend funeral of extended family member not specifically listed.
Seniority – recall rights: 5 months after layoff. 120 days when employee within bargaining unit receives leave to take position with employer that is beyond sphere of bargaining unit.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours of pay at regular overtime pay provisions.
Probationary period: 90 calendar days for full-time; 572 part-time hours worked for part-time.
Safety shoes: $200 per year (previously $100 per year) for safety footwear (grade 1, green triangle, CSA-approved).

0 to 12 months: $21.43 rising 1 step to $21.75
13 to 24 months: $22.39 rising 1 step to $22.73
25 to 42 months: $23.19 rising 1 step to $23.54
43 to 60 months: $2426 rising 1 step to $24.62
61 to 72 months: $24.79 rising 1 step to $25.16
73 to 84 months: $25.59 rising 1 step to $25.97
85 to 96 months: $26.53 rising 1 step to $26.93
Senior employees +> 96 months: $27.47 rising 1 step to $27.88
Editor’s notes: Industry advancement fund: Employer will contribute $0.05 per hour for each hour worked, maximum 168 hours per month, for each employee and dependent contractor covered by collective agreement to industry advancement fund.
