Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2024. Signed on May 1, 2021.
Shift premium: 15% for all hours worked on any shift commencing at times other than regularly scheduled. $2.75 per hour for employees who work north of 60 degrees latitude. $0.58 per kilometre (previously $0.56 per kilometre) for employees who use personal vehicles. $5 per hour for CSWIP- or PCN-certified technicians while operating PA/TOFD systems.
Paid holidays: Varies depending on region.
Overtime: Time and one-half; double time for Sundays, statutory holidays.
Medical benefits: Employers pays 100% of premiums for NDT industry health and welfare plan.
LTD: Employees pays 100% of premiums
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, parents, children. 3 days for death of sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay including applicable travel and transportation.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide employees with protective clothing such as coveralls and gloves on dirty or corrosive work; rain gear when employee is required to work in wet, inclement weather.
