Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2024. Signed on May 1, 2021.
Shift premium: 15% will be added to employee’s wages for all hours worked on any shift beginning at times other than 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. $2.75 per hour for employees employed north of 60 degrees latitude. $2.75 per hour worked on each project where employee is assigned to direct crew of 6 employees or more and keeping records of hours of work.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floater (N.L., P.E.I. only).
Medical benefits: Employers pay 100% of premiums for NDT industry health and welfare plan.
Pension: Employer contributes $7.50 earned per hour (previously $7.25 earned per hour) to NDT industry pension trust fund.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren. 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, parents, children.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at applicable rate including any travel and transportation.
Probationary period: 500 hours.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide employees with protective clothing such as coveralls and gloves on dirty or corrosive work and raingear when employee is required to work in wet, inclement weather.
Mileage: $0.58 per kilometre (previously $0.56 per kilometre).
