Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 28, 2018, to Feb. 27, 2023. Ratified on April 11, 2018. Signed on May 7, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 11, 2018: 1.75%
Effective Feb. 28, 2019: 2.5%
Effective Feb. 28, 2020: 1.25%
Effective Feb. 28, 2021: 1.25%
Effective Feb. 28, 2022: 1.25%
Shift premium: $2.50 per hour paid for regularly scheduled shifts which have start time before 5:30 a.m. or after noon. $2 per hour for all hours worked if employee works at job site where no other collective agreement between union and another subsidiary of employer’s parent is in effect.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 80 hours or 4% after 1 year, 120 hours of 6% after 2 years, 160 hours or 8% after 5 years, 200 hours or 10% after 15 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 
Meal allowance: Employee will receive additional 20-minute paid coffee break plus meal if working 14 or more hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer will pay $1.60 for each hour worked by each employee into Operating Engineers Local 955 Health and Wellness Trust Fund. Effective first Sunday in March 2019: $1.65 per hour. Effective first Sunday in March 2021: $1.70 per hour. 
Pension: Employees will have choice of contributing to either employer’s group RSP plan or Operating Engineers Pension Trust Fund. Employer will pay 5% of regular base rate for all hours worked to Operating Engineers Pension Trust Fund.
Bereavement leave: 24 regularly scheduled hours off for death of spouse, child, stepchild, sister, sister-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, aunt, uncle. 
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for warnings, 30 months for suspensions.
Safety shoes: $225 per year for boots, clothing. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $300 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 10 pairs of coveralls to each employee through coverall service that launders, repairs and replaces worn-out coveralls. Employer will maintain 6 pairs of spare coveralls if employee requires spare set. 
Tool allowance: $1 per hour for mechanics, apprentice mechanics. $0.50 per hour for welders, apprentice welders. 
Mileage: $0.54 per kilometre for travel outside travel-free zone.

Editor’s notes: Field-work assignments: While assigned to field-work assignment that requires overnight accommodation, employer will provide room and board for employee. If camp accommodations are not available, employer will pay $60 per diem, $15 for breakfast, $15 for lunch, $30 for dinner, and up to $175 per night for accommodations. Travel allowance: Employer will pay daily transportation allowance of $40 when employee is assigned to field-work outside of travel-free zone (within 100 kilometres from Acheson shop). Prescription safety glasses: $185 every 2 years.
