Wage adjustments:
Effective July 1, 2016: 1.5%

Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 2 reading days in February. Christmas leave: 11 days including Dec. 24 and Jan. 1.
Vacations with pay: Instructors and counsellors: 1.7249 days per pay period, maximum 50 days can be accrued at any one time. Librarians: 0.9583 days per pay period for less than five 5 years’ service, 1.1499 days per pay period after 5 years’ service 1.3416 days per pay period after 10 years’ service.
Medical benefits: NAIT Extended Medical Benefits Plan.
Dental: NAIT Dental Plan. 100% funded by employer.
Sick leave: Up to first month employed: 0 days' leave at full salary, 70 days' leave at 70% salary. Less than 1 year: 10 days' leave at full salary, 70 days' leave at 70% salary. 1 year: 15 days' leave at full salary, 65 days' leave at 70% salary. 2 years: 25 days' leave at full salary, 55 days' leave at 70% salary. 3 years: 35 days' leave at full salary, 45 days' leave at 70% salary. 4 years: 45 days' leave at full salary, 35 days' leave at 70% salary. 5 years: 60 days' leave at full salary, 20 days' leave at 70% salary.
LTD: 100% funded by employer.
AD&D: Equal coverage to employee’s group life insurance policy.
Life insurance: 1 times or 2.5 times salary, maximum $500,000. No cost for first $25,000, 100% employee pays premiums of group life plan.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP).
Probationary period: 12 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Severance: Greater than 2 years, 12 weeks’ salary; greater than 3 years, 16 weeks’ salary; greater than 4 years, 20 weeks’ salary; greater than 5 years, 24 weeks’ salary; greater than 6 years, 28 weeks’ salary; greater than 7 years, 32 weeks’ salary; greater than 8 years, 36 weeks’ salary; greater than 9 years; 40 weeks’ salary; greater than 10 years, 44 weeks’ salary; greater than 11, years 48 weeks’ salary; greater than 12 years, 52 weeks’ salary.
Uniforms/clothing: Any required uniforms shall be supplied by employer.
