Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2026. Signed on Aug. 24, 2022.
Wage adjustments:
Effective July 1, 2022: 2%

Shift premium: Time and one-half for all travel time to attend training courses outside employee’s normal working hours. $0.75 for each hour worked in off-normal period before midnight. $1 for each hour worked in off-normal period after midnight. $15 for employee in network surveillance centre who works 12-hour shift during off-normal period. Time and one-half for all time worked at heights for employee who works on tower 50 to 85 feet above ground; double time for work more than 85 feet above ground. $12 for second Saturday for employee required to work Saturdays on 2 consecutive holiday weekends.
Paid holidays: 10 days, including National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. 2 additional floater holidays after 1 year, 3 days after 3 years, 4 days after 7 years, 5 days after 10 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work performed outside regular hours; double time for overtime hours worked after 4 hours in 1 week for plant workers. May be banked and taken as time off in lieu, maximum 75 hours in bank.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law partner, son, daughter, including all children in common-law household; father, stepfather, mother, stepmother. Additional 1 week when bereavement requires employee to leave town and travel 1-way distance of 200 or more kilometres.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months after 3 months of service; 18 months after 5 years of service for seniority; 18 months after layoff for recall.
Call-in pay: Paid for time worked at appropriate overtime rate or minimum 4 hours’ pay at straight-time, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for record of all disciplinary measures (24 months if employee receives any additional letters of discipline).
Severance: 2 weeks of pay to start rising to 36 weeks of pay after 15 years of service. Additional 2 weeks of pay after 16 years through 25 years of service; 2.5 weeks of pay after 25 years of service.
Safety shoes: Maximum $80 for 1 pair of overshoes to fit safety boots or safety shoes, per 12 month period, and maximum $200 for 1 pair of safety boots per 12 month period or maximum $90 for 1 pair of safety shoes per 12-month period. Employer will allow employees to combine maximum amounts over 2-year period.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide necessary insulated, fire-resistant coveralls or jacket and overalls for employees who require them and replacements as necessary.
