Renewal agreement: Effective Aug. 20, 2015, to April 30, 2018. Signed on Aug. 20, 2015.

Wage adjustments:

Effective May 1, 2016: 2%

Effective May 1, 2017: 2%

Shift premium: $3 for foremen.

Paid holidays: 10 days.

Vacations with pay: Vacation pay allowance of 10% of total wages is to be paid weekly.

Overtime: Double time for all hours worked in excess of regular working hours Monday to Friday. Double time for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. Double time and holiday pay for all hours worked on a statutory holidays.

Meal allowance: Meal or $20 in lieu of a meal provided after 2 hours of overtime.

Mileage: 55¢ per km.

Sample rates of pay, current:

Major industrial work

Millwright journeyman: $36.94 per hour base rate

Millwright apprentice: $21.80 rising in 3 steps to $33.16

All other work

Millwright journeyman: $34.54

Millwright apprentice: $20.35 rising in 3 steps to $31.16

Editor’s notes: Union dues check-off: 3.5% of gross wages. Board allowance: Board allowance of $117 per day applicable after employee has travelled 100 km. $119 effective May 1, 2016. $121 effective May 1, 2017. Tools: Employees will have 5 to 10 minutes before quitting time for the purpose of picking up and storing tools. Testing: Employees required to take a welding test will do so during regular working hours.
