Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023. Signed on May 25, 2022.

Shift premium: $1 per hour for second shift. $1.50 per hour for third shift. $2 per hour above highest classification under supervision for charge-hand (premium will apply to only 1 position within bargaining unit at any 1 time).

Paid holidays: 12 days. Employees will be entitled to 2 weeks of holiday leave without pay per year. Vacation, holiday pay will be 10% of total earnings of employee, paid on each pay cheque and upon termination.

Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours per day, Monday through Saturday or after 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for work on Sunday or on general holidays.

Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $2.15 per hour to Operating Engineers Health and Wellness Fund for health and welfare coverage.

Sick leave: 5 days per year.

Pension: Employer will contribute $6.75 per hour Operating Engineers Pension Fund for pension coverage.

Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours of pay at applicable overtime rate.

Tool allowance: Employer will provide adequately safe and dry storage for mechanic’s tools on employer’s premises and in employer’s vehicles used for transporting such tools.

Mileage: Employees, who use own vehicles at request and direction of employer, will be paid $0.40 per kilometre for use of vehicles.

Journeyman: $47.24

Yard operator gr. 1: $45.90

Lowboy: $41.29

Yard operator gr. 2: $41.29

Ground worker 1: $28.54

Ground worker 2: $26.34

Ground worker 3: $25.25

Fully equipped rig: $30

Apprentices

First-year: 70% journeyman rate

Second-year: 76% journeyman rate

Third-year: 80% journeyman rate

Fourth-year: 90% journeyman rate
