Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2023. Signed on Feb. 2, 2021.

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2021: 2%

Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 2%

Effective Jan. 1, 2023: 2%

Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for all hours worked after 6 p.m. Monday to Friday; for all regularly scheduled hours on Saturdays, Sundays.

Paid holidays: 12 days.

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 13 years, 6 weeks after 20 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for first hour worked after 7 hours of work; double time after 8 hours of work in 1 day. Double time for work on Sunday. Time and one-half for work after 35 hours in 1 week; double time after 40 hours in 1 week. May be taken as time off in lieu but time must be taken within 3 months of date on which overtime work was performed.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.

Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 80% coverage for basic dental; 60% coverage for prosthetics, crowns and bridges. $3,000 lifetime limit for orthodontics.

Vision: $550 every 24 months.

Sick leave: 1 half-day for each month of service; may be accumulated, maximum 150 days.

AD&D: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual salary.

Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual salary.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, partner (includes traditional, same-sex, common-law), child (includes adopted, foster), parents, parent-in-laws, guardians, siblings, grandchildren, grandparents. 3 days for death of close friend, brother-in-law, sister-in-law. 1 day to attend funeral as pallbearer. Unpaid extension, maximum 2 calendar weeks of total leave may be given.

Seniority – recall rights: 12 months after layoffs.

Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours of pay at time and one-half or double time.

Probationary period: 3 months for full-time; 6 months for part-time.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for letters of expectations.

Severance: 2 weeks’ pay after 6 months of service; 1 week per year of service, maximum 8 weeks’ pay, after 3 years of service.

Safety shoes: Maximum $100 per year for van drivers for steel-toed boots.
