Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on Jan. 1, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: $0.47 per hour.
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: $0.47 per hour.
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $0.47 per hour.
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $0.60 per hour.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for employees holding first-aid certificate. $3 per hour for work between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 9 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 21 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours, double time for work after 2 overtime hours. Double time for work on Sunday or statutory holiday; triple time after 9 hours; quadruple time after 10 hours. Time and one-half for working on regular rest day; double and one-quarter time after 9 hours; triple time after 10 hours.
Medical benefits: Medical Services Plan of B.C. 100% premiums covered by employer.
Sick leave: After 1 year of service, 1/2 day per month.
Pension: Teamsters National Pension Plan. 100% premiums covered by employer. (Effective Jan. 1, 2016: $2.88 per hour; Effective Jan. 1, 2017: $2.98 per hour; Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $3.08 per hour; Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $3.18 per hour).
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, spouse, brother, sister, child, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, stepchildren, legal guardian, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents, grandchildren).
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year or 18 months if employee has 5 years’ seniority.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Safety shoes: $175 reimbursement per year, supplied by Poco Building Supplies Inventory.
Uniforms/clothing: Clothing supplied, 50% of cost to employee.

80,001 GVW to 99,999 GVW (36,363 kg to 45,453 kg): $27.90 rising 3 steps to $29.44
100,000 GVW to 114,999 GVW (45,454 - 52,272 kg): $27.58 rising 3 steps to $29.12
115,000 GVW to 130,000 GVW (52,273 - 59,090 kg): $28.20 rising 3 steps to $29.74
Over 130,000 GVW (59,091 kg): $28.35 rising 3 steps to $29.89
Editor’s notes: Licence test: $125 reimbursement for medical examination. $80 reimbursement for physical examination. Union label: Employee may post Teamsters’ Union label in a conspicuous place on the glass area of the equipment he is operating, not in excess of 3 by 4 inches. Working on vacation: Any employee who accepts employment while on vacation may be terminated.
