Renewal agreement: Effective June 4, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2021. Signed on June 4, 2018.
Shift premium: 11 hours of pay for 10 hours worked for second shift. $0.50 per hour for work performed on waterproofing, vertical walls below ground for cold-applied emulsions.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: $2.82 as 10% vacation pay rising 2 steps to $2.94 per hour (previously $2.79 per hour).
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 50 hours per week. Double time for all work on Saturday, Sunday, legal holidays.
Meal allowance: Employee will be given hot meal, consumed on 20-minute break, for all work after 10 hours per day without prior notice. Employee will be given 1 hour of pay in lieu of meal.
Medical benefits: Employer contributes $2.85 per hour (previously $2.60 per hour) to New Brunswick Sheet Metal Industry Employer Employee Trust Fund.
Bereavement leave: 2 days for death in immediate family (spouse, children, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, grandparents, grandchildren).
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours of pay at straight-time rate.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply rubber gloves work performed on waterproofing, vertical walls below ground for cold-applied emulsions.

Journeymen roofers: $28.25 rising 2 steps to $29.37
Roofing foreman: $32.25 rising 2 steps to $33.37
Roofers’ assistants: 55% of journeymen roofers pay

1,800 hours worked (plus first division exam successfully completed): 75% of journeymen roofers pay

5,400 hours worked (plus first division exam successfully completed): 90% of journeymen roofers pay
Certificate of qualification successfully completed: 100% of journeymen roofers pay
Editor’s notes: Safety-training fund: Employer contributes $0.15 per hour to safety-training fund. Transportation, lodging costs: All employees will provide own transportation within 25-kilometre radius of town hall. Adequate lodging, plus $50 per day worked, will be provided by employer on out-of-town work. $0.45 per kilometre (previously $0.42 per kilometre) travelled if employee uses own vehicle beyond and back to 25-kilometre radius of town hall. If employee is travelling daily outside 25-kilometre radius at straight-time rate. Industrial relations training fund: Employer contributes $0.12 per hour to Health and Welfare S.J.C.A. Industrial relations training fund.
