Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 3.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2023: 3.25%

Shift premium: $1 per hour when employee act as team leader in supervisor position. Greater of lead-hand rate of pay or 10% above regular rate of pay when employee in outside services department fulfills additional supervisory duties, due to absence or unavailability of operations supervisor.
Paid holidays: 15 days, including New Brunswick Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Christmas Eve (afternoon only), New Year’s Eve (afternoon only).
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month to start, 1 2/3 days per month after 8 years, 2 1/12 days per month after 16 years, 2 1/2 days per month after 24 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work performed outside of regular working hours after 8 consecutive hours of work Mondays to Fridays. Double time for work performed on Saturdays and Sundays; for work on Monday mornings between 12:01 a.m. and 8 a.m.; for all hours of overtime worked after 8 consecutive hours of overtime in any contiguous period. Employee may request time off in lieu of cash for overtime, maximum 120 hours, including any carry-over from prior years, in any year.
Meal allowance: $20 (previously $12.50) as meal allowance and adequate time off with pay for meal break for employee who works more than 3 hours of overtime immediately before or following normal hours of work or who works more than 10.5 hours on Saturday, Sunday, statutory holiday.
Sick leave: 1 1/4 days per month.
Pension: Canada Port Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, common-law partner, child, ward of employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, grandparents, grandchild, relative residing in employee’s household). 1 day in for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, uncle. 1 day to attend funeral as pallbearer.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for employee transferred or promoted to position which is excluded from bargaining unit. 15 months after layoff.
Call-in pay: Greater of compensation at applicable overtime rate or compensation equivalent to 4 hours of pay at time and one-half.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for first year of employment; 1 week’s pay for each succeeding year of employment, maximum 28 weeks’ pay for first layoff. 1 week’s pay for each year of employment, maximum 27 weeks’ pay for second layoff
Safety shoes: $300 every 12 months.
