Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2023. Signed on Sept. 21, 2021.

Shift premium: $0.70 per hour (previously $0.65 per hour) worked during following shifts: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; 4 p.m. to midnight; 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.; 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; midnight to 8 a.m. $0.70 per hour (previously $0.65 per hour) for Friday at 11 p.m. to Sunday at midnight.

Paid holidays: 12 days.

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 6% to start, 1.25 days per month, maximum 15 days or 6% weeks after 1 year, 1.67 days per month, maximum 20 days or 8% weeks after 5 years, 2.08 days per month, maximum 25 days or 10% weeks after 12 years, 2.5 days per month, maximum 30 days or 12% weeks after 15 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours in 1 day or 40 hours per week. Employee may be compensated for overtime with lieu time, maximum 80 hours at any time; time may be carried forward, maximum 1 year.

Sick leave: 0.058 hours for all hours paid, maximum accrual 680 hours.

Pension: Employee will contribute to group RRSP: 4% to start, 5% after 5 years, 6% after 10 years. Employer will match contributions: 2% to start, 3% after 10 years.

Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex partner, child, stepchild, parent, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law). 2 additional days, without pay, will be granted for travel.

Seniority – recall rights: 12 months after layoffs or 12 months if casual employee has failed to accept 1 shift.

Call-in pay: Greater of: compensation at appropriate overtime rate or compensation equivalent to 4 hours of pay at straight-time rate.

Probationary period: 690 hours worked, from time employee first works for employer.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for full-time employees, 24 months for part-time employees, for record of any verbal or written reprimands, warnings or suspensions.

Mileage: $0.45 per kilometre to employees who use own vehicle to perform work of employer.
