Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2018. Signed on Aug. 28, 2015.

Wage adjustments:

Effective April 1, 2016: 2.25%

Effective March 31, 2017: 2.5%

Paid holidays: 11 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked beyond 8 in one day or 40 in one week.

Medical benefits: Steelworkers Trusted Benefit Plan.

Sick leave: 8 days per year.

Pension: Effective April 1, 2015: 4% contributed by employee, 4% contributed by employer.

Seniority – recall rights: 30 months.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 6 months for first written reprimand, 1 year for more suspension, discharge, or secondary disciplinary action.

Uniforms/clothing: Company to supply required uniform.

Mileage: 52¢ per kilometre when employee is required to use personal vehicle for company use.

Sample rates of pay, current:

Level 1: $16.85 per hour

Level 3.1: $19.17

Level 3.2: $19.56

Level 3.3: $19.96

Level 3.4: $20.37

Editor’s notes: Northern allowance: $4 per hour worked in Wabash, Goose Bay and Churchill Falls airports. Volume, risk, stress, consequences bonus: $1.29 per hour worked at Halifax, Moncton, St. John’s airports.
