Wage adjustments:
Effective Oct. 18, 2019: 2.5%
Effective March 1, 2020: 2.75%
Shift premium: $1.73 per hour for production day-shift differential. $3.47 per hour for production and maintenance night-shift differential. $2,000 per year (paid in equal increments throughout year) for steam-ticket premium for employees who possess valid first- or second-class steam ticket; $300 per year for third-class ticket. 10% above base pay for all hours assigned when employer has identified special assignment is eligible for work-up.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus floater day as agreed by company and union. Banked statutory holidays, including the floater holiday, cannot be carried into next year and balances as of Dec. 31 will be paid out at 1-times employee’s hourly rate of pay in which statutory holiday was earned.
Vacations with pay: 120 hours to start, 160 hours after 10 years, 200 hours after 18 years, 240 hours after 25 years.
Overtime: Time may be banked, maximum 60 hours per year. Time cannot be carried over into next year and balance of hours worked will be paid out at applicable overtime rates.
Meal allowance: Employee working more than 2 hours past regular scheduled working hours will receive meal provided by employer. During turnarounds, 1 meal will be provided per shift to employees working on scheduled day off.
Seniority – recall rights: 60 days for employee who is promoted or transferred to permanent salaried position; 12 months for layoffs.
Call-in pay: 3 hours at overtime rate or overtime pay for total hours worked, whichever is greater. Time eligible for call-in pay begins after arrival at jobsite.
Probationary period: First 6 months of continuous employment.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay plus 2 weeks’ pay per year of service multiplied by 1.30.
