Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2014, to April 30, 2019. Signed on April 21, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
Effective May 1, 2016: 0.5% increase and 0.45% economic stability dividend.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work more than 17 contact hours per week.
Medical benefits: For TA, TM and sessional instructors: 100% premiums paid by employer. 25% of extended health benefits plan paid by employee. For ELC/ITP instructors: 60% premiums paid by employer, 40% premiums paid by employee. Medical Services Plan of B.C. 100% premiums paid by employer for extended health benefits plan.
Dental: Pacific Blue Cross Personal Dental Plan. Employer will reimburse premiums paid by employee ($11.35 per month for single coverage, $22.70 per month for couple coverage, or $34.50 per month for family coverage).
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of family member, close friend.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Probationary period: 4 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
