Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 1, 2021 to Sept. 30, 2024. Signed on Oct. 1, 2021.

Shift premium: $3 per hour for lead-hands. $2 per hour to bargaining unit employees who are qualified trainers and who are tasked with training duties.

Paid holidays: 11 days, including National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, employee’s birthday.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 30 years.

Medical benefits: In year 1, employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. In year 2, employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 80% of premiums. In year 3, employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 80% of premiums.

Bereavement leave: 10 days for death in immediate family (employee’s spouse or common-law partner; employee’s father and mother and spouse or common-law partner of father or mother; employee’s children, children of employee’s spouse or common-law partner; employee’s grandchildren; employee’s brothers and sisters; grandfather and grandmother of employee; father and mother of spouse or common-law partner of employee and spouse or common-law partner of father or mother; any relative who resides with employee. 3 days for death in extended family (brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece of employee).

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours.

Safety shoes: $125 (including taxes and shipping) for safety boots for all ramp agents, lead ramp agents. $50 (including taxes and shipping) toward purchase of black shoes for all customer-service agents, lead customer-service agents.

Uniforms/clothing: When employer requires employee to wear specific uniforms they will be supplied and will include pants, shirts, jacket, appropriate gloves. Items will be replaced if, in employer’s view, do not meet required standards. Ground-service agents, lead ground-service agents will receive upon hiring: 1 ball cap, 3 golf shirts, 1 fleece zip-up sweater, 2 high-visibility vests, 3 pairs of cargo, pants, 2 pairs cargo, shorts, 1 pair of knee pads, 1 lanyard, 1 set of raingear (pants and jacket), gloves. During first winter season of employment, employees will be issued: 1 toque, 1 winter coat, winter gloves, 1 winter pants.

Editor’s notes: Personal days: 6 personal days per year (4 days paid at 100% of normal daily wages; 2 days unpaid). Parking fees: Employer will share cost of parking with employee: 75% employer paid; 25% employee paid.
