Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2022 to Dec. 31, 2025. Ratified on Nov. 5, 2021. Signed on Nov. 5, 2021.

Shift premium: $1.80 per hour (previously $1.25 per hour) for all time worked on regular second and regular third shifts.

Paid holidays: 11 days plus 1 floater day. (Either first Monday in August or second personal floater will be observed based on decision by majority of all personnel employed at Edmonton site as twelfth paid holiday).

Vacations with pay: 4% after 6 months of service, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. Under special circumstances, maximum 2 weeks of paid vacation will be allowed to be carried over.

Overtime: Time and one-half for work in excess of regular or compressed work schedules. Double time for work on Sundays. Employee may take time off in lieu, maximum 24 hours. If overtime is accumulated in October, November or December, employee can carry over banked overtime into following calendar year, maximum 90 days. Any outstanding overtime that has not been used will be paid out at appropriate premium rate.

Meal allowance: $10 per meal for employees who, after reporting for work, work longer than 2.5 hours after completion of regular scheduled shift (employer may provide meal as alternative to reimbursement of such expenses).

Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law-spouse, son, daughter of employee, employee’s spouse, mother, father, sister, brother). 3 days for death of father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchild of employee. 1 day to attend funeral of 1 of grandparents.

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year from last day of work after layoffs.  

Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ at time and one-half or pay for actual hours worked at overtime rate, whichever is greater. Scheduled or planned overtime on weekends, recognized holidays or continuous with regular work schedule will not be subject to minimum 3 hours’ pay.

Probationary period: 126 days worked.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years for disciplinary documents.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide necessary or required personal protective equipment, devices, uniforms to protect employees from injuries arising from employment at no cost to employee.

Bulk chemical operator: $35.94 rising 3 steps to $37.03

Bulk chemical operator progression/bulk chemical operator: $35.94 rising 3 steps to $37.03

Maintenance mechanic progression/maintenance mechanic: $37.65 rising 3 steps to $38.79

Delivery Specialist: $33.37 rising 3 steps to $34.38

Shipper/receiver operator: $33.37 rising 3 steps to $34.38

Bulk chemical operator: $35.94 rising 3 steps to $37.03

Chemical operator level 4: $34.66 rising 3 steps to $35.71

Chemical operator level 3: $33.37 rising 3 steps to $34.38

Chemical operator level 2: $30.37 rising 3 steps to $31.29

Chemical operator level 1: $28.22 rising 3 steps to $29.08

Chemical operator trainee: $25.80 rising 3 steps to $26.58

Employees will receive lump sum payments:
