Renewal agreement: Effective June 1 2021 to May 31, 2026. Signed on Sept. 8, 2021.

Paid holidays: 10 days, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Vacations with pay: 0.83 days per month, maximum 10 days to start, 1.25 days per month, maximum 15 days, after 4 years, 1.67 days per months, maximum 20 days, after 10 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for any hours worked after 90 hours per month.

Meal allowance: $2 per flight hour when planned flight time is scheduled for greater than 2 hours. Employee will receive 50% discount for buy-on-board meals and snacks when buy-on-board is available.

Sick leave: Employees will receive initial bank of 15 credits after they have completed line-indoctrination flight. For each block month that employee is active, they will receive 4.5 credits in sick bank, maximum 80 hours.

Pension: Employer, employees may contribute to company retirement savings plan. Employer will match, maximum 2%, after 1 year of participation; 3% after 3 years of participation; 4% after 4 years of participation.

Bereavement leave: 5 consecutive days for death of family member.

Seniority – recall rights: 3 consecutive years after leave of absence or medical leave. 5 consecutive years after layoff. 3 years for employee who takes position outside bargaining unit.

Probationary period: 180 cumulative days of active duty.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 cumulative months or 24 calendar months, whichever is shorter, for disciplinary notations less than 3 days’ suspension; 24 cumulative months or 36 calendar months, whichever is shorter, for disciplinary notations more than 3 days’ suspension.

Uniforms/clothing: Employees will receive initial uniform package at completion of initial training program. Employees will be responsible to pay for 50% of cost of initial uniform allotment, maximum $500. Payment will be made by payroll deduction of $25 per month. $85 per month to cover all dry cleaning, alterations, footwear, winter scarf and gloves and all other service-related items.

Editor’s notes: Loss of luggage: If employee loses luggage while away from home base, employee will be given $75 allowance and additional $75 for each subsequent period of 24 hours, maximum $250, to purchase necessities that would not otherwise be expected to be in carry-on luggage. Extended duty periods: When flight duty period is extended, employee will be paid: $100 when it exceeds 14 hours; $200 when it exceeds 15 hours; $700 when it exceeds 16 hours; $800 when it exceeds 17 hours.
