Survey focuses on state of labour relations

Queen’s University survey on until Dec. 16

What does the present — and future — look like for labour relations professionals in Canada?

In an effort to answer that question, the Queen’s University Industrial Relations Centre in Kingston, Ont., is conducting an online survey — An Inquiry into the State of Labour Relations in Canada.

Based on the perspectives and experiences of Canadian labour professionals, the survey focuses on the knowledge, skills and abilities deemed critical for labour relations. It also asks about opportunities and challenges for the profession.

The survey — which takes about 20 minutes to complete — is available online at bit.ly/w0S4Uj.

The deadline for the survey is Dec. 16, 2011. Results will be published in an upcoming issue of Canadian HR Reporter.
