Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2022 to Dec. 31, 2024. Signed on Feb. 8, 2022.
Shift premium: $1 per hour for employees physically working designated midnight shift. $20 per long tow (Nav Can assisted, crossing runways or taxiways) for D AVOP-qualified (airside vehicle operators’ permits) employees who perform tows.
Paid holidays: 10 days, including National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
Vacations with pay: 1 days per month, maximum 10 days, to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years.
Overtime: Paid at time and one-half for all authorized overtime or on scheduled days off. Time may be banked, maximum 80 hours per year.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Bereavement leave: 10 days for death in immediate (spouse, common-law partner, father, mother, common-law partner of father, mother, children, children’s spouse, common-law partner, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, grandfather, grandmother, father and mother of spouse, common-law partner of father, mother, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, any relative who resides with employee).
Seniority – recall rights: 60 calendar days should employee be permanently transferred from 1 classification to another classification. Maximum 2 years after layoff.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of work at appropriate overtime rate.
Probationary period: First 120 calendar days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for minor disciplinary letters; 18 months for major items.
Safety shoes: $125 for CSA-approved safety shoes or boots once yearly. $50 to PSA employees for black shoes, after 1 year of service.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide ear muffs to each employee at no cost.

Employer will pay $150 signing bonus to all active employees at ratification.
Editor’s notes: Parking: Employer will provide or make available parking for employees at no cost to employee. Longevity premiums: $0.25-per-hour increase after 15 years of service; additional $0.10-per-hour increase after 25 years of service.
