Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2019. Ratified on July 26, 2018. Signed on Aug. 13, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1%
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2%
Effective July 1, 2018: 2.25%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2.25%
Effective July 1, 2019: 1.75%
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for employees on night shift for regularly scheduled hours worked between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 126 hours after 1 year, 4 weeks or 168 hours after 6 years, 5 weeks or 210 hours after 11 years, 6 weeks or 252 hours after 16 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours, double time thereafter for shift-extension overtime. Time and one-half for scheduled overtime; double time for unscheduled overtime, minimum 2 hours. May be banked, maximum 60 hours. 
Meal allowance: Employees are to be properly nourished with reasonably healthy food and drink after 3 hours of overtime or 3 hours on standby.
Sick leave: 5.8 hours biweekly, maximum 756 hours for employees working 10-hour day and 14-hour night shift rotations. 5.4 hours biweekly, maximum 720 hours for employees working 40 hours per week.
Pension: Alberta Local Authorities Pension Plan or group RRSP (employer does not contribute to group RRSP).
Bereavement leave: 3 shifts for death in immediate family (spouse, child, parents, parents-in-law, grandchildren, grandparents, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law). 2 shifts for travel in excess of 450 kilometres or where special circumstances warrant consideration. 1 shift to attend funeral or memorial service for relative who is not immediate family a person living in employee’s home.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months; 36 months for illness, disability or work-related injury. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 1 year. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years for written disciplinary warning; 5 years for disciplinary suspensions.
Severance: 1 week per year of service, maximum 12 weeks. 
Safety shoes: Employee will be provided with leather structural firefighting boots.
Uniforms/clothing: Employees will be issued 4 uniformed shirts with flashes (choice of short or long sleeved); 4 uniform pants; 4 duty T-shirts; 6 pairs of socks; 1 spring/summer jacket; 1 fall/winter jacket; 1 pair of leather gloves; 1 pair of leather station boots; 1 ball cap; 1 belt; 1 toque; 1 job shirt; 1 pair of gym shorts; 1 class A uniform; class A uniform trench coat.
Mileage: $0.60 per kilometre for travel on county business, using personal vehicle.

Captain: $55.43 rising 5 steps to $57.76
First-class firefighter: $42.64 rising 5 steps to $46.96 
Second-class firefighter: $38.37 rising 5 steps to $43.20
Third-class firefighter: $34.11 rising 5 steps to $38.98
Probationary firefighter: $31.13 rising 5 steps to $35.22
Lieutenant: $47.33 rising 3 steps to $50.10
Part-time firefighter FQ: $23.45 rising 3 steps to $29.34 
Part-time firefighter FF: $21.32 rising 3 steps to $22.57
Editor’s notes: Health and wellness: $750 per year for employees to maintain fitness and wellness for work. Death service: Employer will contribute, maximum 2 months’ salary of 151 class firefighter, towards costs to provide full honours line-of-duty death ceremonial service for employee whose death has been attributed to work performed on behalf of employer. Out-of-town travel: $55 per day for meals; $220 per day for accommodation. Long-service recognition: $200 after 5 years; $350 after 10 years; $500 after 15 years; $700 after 20 years; $900 after 25 years; $1,100 after 30 years; $1,300 after 35 years.
