Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31 , 2019. Ratified on April 18, 2017. Signed on Aug. 10, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 2017: 1.25%
Effective 2018: 2%
Effective 2019: 2%
Shift premium: Additional 10% for employees working on Saturday or Sunday. Additional 3.5% for those whose scheduled hours of work fall between 5 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 15 years, 30 days after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. May be taken as time off. 
Medical benefits: Employer will provide a health-care spending account of $1,000.
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1.5 days per month, maximum 120 days accumulation. 
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. 
AD&D: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (son, daughter, current spouse, common-law spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, parent of current spouse, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step-family, grandparent of spouse, legal guardian). 2 additional days for travel if required.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Safety shoes: $250 per year (previously $150 per year). May be accumulated over 2 years.
Uniforms/clothing: $50 every 200 hours worked, maximum $300 per year for bathing suits, shorts and appropriate footwear for pool employees.
