Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Ratified on Dec. 11, 2017. Signed on Jan. 16, 2018.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 0.83 days per month to start, 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 4 years, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. May be banked and taken as time off in lieu, maximum 40 hours of overtime (60 straight-time hours).
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums until fourth year of employment when employer pays 100% of premiums. Employer will provide $400 per year for health spending account.
Sick leave: 1.5 days for each month worked, maximum 20 days. Employees may use up to 5 days per year from sick leave for personal/wellness days.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death of current spouse (including common-law spouse, same-gender partner), parent, brother, sister, child, parent-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, legal guardian, other family member as defined in employment standards code. Employer may grant employees time off to attend funeral as pallbearer or mourner with or without pay.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 1 hour at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 30 months.

Editor’s notes: First aid: Employer will provide and maintain first-aid equipment and provide first-aid training to all employees. Sunday work: No employee will be required to work on Sundays.
