Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 31, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 3.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 3.75%
Shift premium: 1 additional hour’s pay for maintenance employees working regular shifts on a Saturday or Sunday. $2.49 per hour effective Jan. 1, 2014 for evening and night shifts, $2.58 effective Jan. 1, 2015, $2.68 effective Jan. 1, 2016.
Paid holidays: 12 days. Employees who work a 12-hour shift on a holiday will be paid 12 hours’ pay at double time in addition to regular pay.
Vacations with pay: 80 hours per year to start, 120 hours after 1 year, 160 hours after 7 years, 200 hours after 16 years, 240 hours after 22 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at double time rate. Employees paid at straight time for actual hours on standby. Hydro emergency (short notice) on-call after regular hours: $106.37 effective Jan. 1, 2014, $110.09 effective Jan. 1, 2015, $114.22 effective Jan. 1, 2016.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Uniforms/clothing: $300 per year coverall allowance.
