Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 1, 2014, to Oct. 31, 2016. Signed on June 25, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Nov. 1, 2014: 1.5%
Effective Nov. 1, 2015: 1.3%
Shift premium: 33¢ per hour for time worked between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. 20¢ per hour for time worked between 11 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Sunday.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month of service to a maximum of 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 23 years and 7 weeks after 28 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half.
Vision: $200 every 2 years. $250 effective Jan. 1, 2016.
Sick leave: 3 days of sick leave upon completion of probation. 7.5 additional hours for each period of 162.5 hours paid thereafter to a maximum of 105 hours.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of billing rate for the Group Life Insurance Plan in the amount of $30,000 term life insurance.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child or stepchild. 3 days for employee’s father, mother, stepparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, legal guardian, grandparent, grandparent-in-law, grandchild, son-in-law or daughter-in-law. 1 day for employee’s uncle, aunt, nephew or niece.
Seniority – recall rights: 3 years.
Probationary period: 450 hours worked or 1 year, whichever occurs first.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years when the disciplinary action arises from an interaction with residents or family members. 1 year for all other disciplinary action.
Uniforms/clothing: $9 per month.
