Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2025. Signed on Dec. 28, 2022.

Shift premium: 5% of journeyman rate for sub-foreman while employed in role; 15% of journeyman rate foreman while employed in role.

Paid holidays: 12 days, including National Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Vacations with pay: Employees will be paid 6.5% of gross regular hours earnings as vacation pay each pay period. At employee’s option, vacation pay can be accrued and paid out, twice per year.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 in 1 day or 40 in 1 week. Employees may bank hours in 5-hour increments, maximum 120 hours per year (all banked hours must be taken by last full pay period in year they were banked).

Meal allowance: Meal will be provided by employer after 10 hours of work for 12-hour shifts.

Medical benefits: Employees are required to participate in benefit plans offered by employer.

Pension: Employer will match up to $1 per hour contributions made by employee ($1 per hour by employee and $1 per hour by employer) into RRSP. Additional employee contributions are also permitted.

Bereavement leave: 2 days for death of direct relative only (spouse, children, spouse’s parents, parents, siblings, grandparents, spouse siblings of employee).

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay at time and one half.

Probationary period: 90 days.

Safety shoes: $150 per year to each employee for work/safety related apparel or work boots. Any part of allowance not used in year, Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, will not be carried over into another year.

Mileage: $0.50 per kilometer when using personal vehicle for employer.

Starter (probationary period): $18.41

First-year apprentice: $19.41

Second-year apprentice: $23.30

Third year apprentice: $27.18

Fourth-year apprentice: $31.06

Journeyman: $38.83

Sub-foreman: $40.77

Foreman: $44.65

Service 1: $39.79

Service 2: $41.73

Data technician

Minimum rate: $20

Maximum rate: $37

Editor’s notes: On call: $50 will be paid to technician.
