Wage adjustments:
Effective April 1, 2023: 1.25%
Effective Dec. 1, 2023: 1.5%
Effective March 1, 2024: 1.5% (additional 0.5% will be added to minimum salary rate average of all private forecasts for Alberta’s real GDP for 2023 calendar year is at or above 2.7% as of February 2024)
Medical benefits: University postdoctoral fellows benefit plan. Benefit plan for all employees will include annual health spending account allowance of $500 for reimbursement of CRA eligible medical and dental expenses. Any unused allocation in HSA at the end of the HSA year will be carried forward to next HSA year (unused allocation cannot be carried forward beyond 1 HSA year).
Sick leave: 20 days to start; 25 days after third to fifth (or greater) year of employment.
Bereavement leave: Unpaid leave.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for all records of discipline.
