Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2017. Signed on Feb. 17, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2016: 2.47%
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 27 days in every full year of service. Pro-rated for employees with less than 1 year of service. 
Medical benefits: Group health insurance policy.
Dental: Group dental plan.
Paramedical: Employer provides $725 per year for health-care spending account for each employee.
Sick leave: Up to 180 calendar days. Upon return to work for at least 6 months, recurrence of same illness, injury or disability will restart 180-day entitlement.
LTD: LTD income plan.
AD&D: Basic and voluntary AD&D plans.
Life insurance: Group term life insurance plan.
Pension: Employees contribute to pension plan.
Seniority – recall rights: 3 years.
Probationary period: 2 years for academic librarians. Maximum 6 years untenured period for full-time faculty.
Severance: Discontinuance allowance of 1 month's salary for each year of service; minimum 12 months, maximum 18 months.
Mileage: Travel expenses reimbursed for off-campus assignments and attendance at meetings of academic or professional groups from pool of travel and expense funds.

Professor: $103,451 floor, $155,177 maximum
Associate professor: $84,251 floor, $126,376 maximum
Assistant professor: $71,777 floor, $107,666 maximum
Lecturer: $57,291 floor, $85,937 maximum
Senior instructor: $73,338 floor, $110,006 maximum
Instructor 2: $67,382 floor, $101,074 maximum
Instructor 1: $58,523 floor, $87,784 maximum
Librarian: $94,961 floor, $142,441 maximum
Associate librarian: $75,879 floor, $113,817 maximum
Assistant librarian: $65,832 floor, $98,746 maximum
General librarian: $57,158 floor, $85,735 maximum
Head of department stipend: $3,679, rising in 4 steps to $7,251, depending on size of staff
Associate or assistant head stipend: $1,738
Library co-ordinator stipend: $7,824
Library section head stipend: $1,667
$8,649 per 6-credit hour course in summer sessions and off-campus university credit courses
$3,000 for merit award; up to 33 merit awards may be made in any given year.
Editor’s notes: Retirement transition: Employees with tenured or continuing appointment are eligible to apply for a reduced appointment — a limited-time reduction from full-time to part-time workload for the purposes of transitioning to retirement or flexible working arrangements for a limited time. Maximum of 5 years for reduced appointment.
