Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2024, to Dec. 31, 2026. Ratified in 2021.

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2024: 9%

Effective Jan. 1, 2025: 2%

Effective Jan. 1, 2026: 1.8%

Shift premium: $1 per hour worked on Saturdays and/or Sundays for Assistant Invigilators, Chief Presiding Officers, and Invigilators - Services to a Persons with a Disability

Paid holidays: 12 days.

Vacations with pay: All employees shall be entitled to an additional 4% of salary as vacation pay.

Overtime: Chief Presiding Officers may agree to work up to 60 hours in a week, with overtime being payable for each hour of work in excess of 44 hours.

Vision: $300 per 24 months.

Paramedical: $5,000 per year for psychologist, master of social work or psychotherapist.

Sick leave: 3 days paid sick leave for employees with hours totalling 180 or more in an academic session.

Bereavement leave: 5 consecutive days leave per session without loss of pay in the event of the death of an employee's spouse, partner, child, grandchild, parent, sibling, or grandparent, or for the death of a person whose relationship is not defined above, the impact of which is comparable to that of the immediate family.

Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):

Chief Presiding Officer: $33.23, up 3 steps to $37.60.

Invigilator – SS: $43.96, up 3 steps to $49.76.

Peer Assistant: $41.08, up 3 steps to $49.76.

Editor’s notes: Retroactive to January 1. 2024, a one-time special adjustment to the Course Instructor full course rate after the 9% ATB is applied. from $17,750.67 to $18,188.26 (an increase of $437.59 for a full course. $218.80 for a half course).
