Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
Effective April 1, 2014: 2.5%
Effective April 1, 2015: 3%
Paid holidays: 11 days. Employees may select 11 days in lieu of actual holiday date, granted no days are in December. Subject to approval.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 26 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 80 per 28-day block.
Medical benefits: Benefits include basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, weekly indemnity, long-term disability, extended health benefits, dental benefits, dependent life insurance and vision care. No other details available.
Sick leave: 5 days per year to start, 8 days after 1 year, 10 days after 5 years. Sick leave does not accumulate or carry over year to year.
Pension: RRSP contributions as follows. Employees with 2-5 years of service: 50¢ for every $1 pilot contributes up to 2.5% of salary or $2,500 per year. Employees with 5 years of service or more: $1 for every $1 the pilot contributes up to 5% of salary or $5,000 per year.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for immediate family, defined as parent, spouse, common-law spouse, brother, sister, child, grandparent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Uniforms/clothing: Charter pilots to receive: 1 blazer, 2 dress slacks, 4 dress shirts, 2 ties, 1 winter jacket, 1 light-weight jacket. 705 pilots to receive: 2 dress slacks, 4 dress shirts, 2 ties, 1 sweater, 1 winter jacket, 1 light-weight jacket. Courier pilots to receive: 2 pairs of pants, 4 work/golf shirts, 1 sweater, 1 winter jacket, 1 light-weight jacket. Employer to replace blazers, sweaters and jackets every 2 years, slacks/pants, shirts and ties to be replaced after 1 year.
