Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2025. Ratified on March 25, 2021. Signed on Feb. 20, 2020. (First agreement).

Shift premium: 21.875% (previously 16.875%) when cabin crew member is reassigned to higher classification on flight. Effective Jan. 1, 2025: 26.875%.

Paid holidays: 10 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 7 years.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.

Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.

Sick leave: All full-time cabin personnel on date of ratification of agreement will each receive initial allotment of 12 days of sick leave in sick leave banks (8 days for part-time cabin personnel). Employees will accrue 1 day per month, maximum 22 days in bank (15 days for part-time cabin personnel).

STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.

LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.

AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.

Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, parent-in-law. 3 days for death of grandparent, grandchild, sibling, relative residing with employee.

Seniority – recall rights: 3 years after layoffs; 24 months for employee transferred to term position not covered by agreement; 6 months for employee transferred to permanent position, within inflight department, not covered by agreement.

Probationary period: 9 months of active service commencing on first scheduled flight after line-indoctrination flight; employer may extend probationary period by up to 3 months.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for disciplinary documents.

Severance: 5 days’ pay for each year of employment, maximum 90 days’ pay or 2 days’ pay for each year of employment, maximum 90 days’ pay or 5 days’ pay, whichever is greater and 1 year of company standby travel benefits for cabin personnel, designated travel companion, eligible dependants for each year of employment.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide initial uniform for new-hire cabin personnel upon successful completion of initial training program. On Jan. 1, employer will provide uniform credit of $350 to cabin personnel each year. Any unused credits remaining on Dec. 31 each year will carry over maximum $775. Cabin personnel will receive uniform maintenance allowance of $50 for every 80 actual hours flown (paid as $0.625 per actual hour flown).

Editor’s notes: Doctor’s certificate: If requested by employer, employee will be reimbursed maximum $40. Personal leave: Cabin personnel may use 3 days of banked sick leave for personal leave reasons per year. Passport/visa: Employer will reimburse employee for cost of replacement passport and passport photos once every 10 years for 10-year passport. Loss/theft of luggage: Employer will compensate cabin personnel for permanent loss/theft of luggage and contents, maximum $750, when loss/theft occurs on duty or during layover. Required in-class training: Cabin personnel will be credited 4.5 credit hours for each scheduled full employer-required training event or 3 credit hours for each scheduled partial employer-required training event.
