Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 15, 2019 to Feb. 15, 2023. Signed on June 9, 2019.
Shift premium: $0.40 per hour to employees who are working in hold of ship while trimming machine is in operation. $2 over highest rate supervised for lead-person. $0.50 per hour for second-shift differential; $0.50 per hour for third-shift differential. $0.75 per hour for employee if scheduled and working on either of 2 rotating 12-hour shifts. If employee is temporarily transferred to higher-rated job classification, employee will receive higher rate of pay provided employee works on upgraded job for 4 hours or more (provision applies only when employee is specifically assigned to fill temporary vacancy created by absence of employee).
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day for each month of service, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours in any 1 workday or 40 hours in any 1 workweek. Time and one-half if employee works continuously beyond regularly scheduled shift and continues working into next day or scheduled day off or into new workweek. Double time for work on seventh day in workweek provided employee has worked 40 straight-time hours during workweek.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, partner, son, daughter, brother, sister, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchildren, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, stepsister, stepmother, stepfather, employee’s grandparents); if employee is unable to attend funeral, employee may be granted 1 day for bereavement. 8 straight-time hours for death of employee’s brother-in-law or sister-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 consecutive months for layoff or off work for any other reason (except illness or injury) or off work because of illness or injury for 24-consecutive months.
Call-in pay: Paid at applicable hourly rate for unscheduled hours worked or 4 hours pay at straight-time hourly rate, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 90 calendar days of employment.
Severance: 1 week of pay for every year of service, minimum 2 weeks’ pay. Employees with 2 or more years of service will not be eligible for severance and termination pay until such time as they are permanently laid off. Permanently laid off employees, who are paid severance and termination package, will have employer-paid insurance benefits extended to 2 months following month in which they are permanently laid off.
Uniforms/clothing: Gloves will be issued, when necessary. Replacements will be provided for worn-out gloves. Employer will provide $450 per year (previously $350 per year) for employer-approved coveralls, safety boots.
Tool allowance: Employer will supply all tools which will remain property of employer.

Maintenance electrician: $31.04 rising 3 steps to $32.94
Training grade 3: $26.51 rising 3 steps to $28.13
Training grade 2: $26.46 rising 3 steps to $28.08
Training grade 1: $26.41 rising 3 steps to $28.03
Elevator operator (after 24 months): $26.23 rising 3 steps to $27.83
Second 12 months: $22.27 rising 3 steps to $23.63
First 12 months: $20.76 rising 3 steps to $22.03
Seasonal: $14 rising 3 steps to $14.86
