Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2019. Signed on Aug. 1, 2017. 
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for all hours worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. 
Paid holidays: 11 days.  
Vacations with pay: 10 hours per month, maximum 120 hours to start, 13.28 hours per month, maximum 240 hours after 1 years, 16.64 hours per month, maximum 300 hours after 8 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 44 hours per week. May be banked, maximum 40 hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $300 every 2 years.
Paramedical: Employer pays 100% of premiums for massage, chiropractic services.
Sick leave: 12 hours per month, maximum 720 hours of accumulation. 
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $300 every 2 years.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Pension: After 6 months of service, employees will join CAAT Pension Plan. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (partner, child, parent, brother, sister). 3 days for death in other family (partner’s mother, partner’s father, partner’s brother, partner’s sister, grandparents, partner’s grandparents, persons in loco parentis).
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.  
Probationary period: 720 hours or 6 months whichever is less.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay with less than 2 years of service; 3 weeks’ pay after 2 years of service; 4 weeks’ pay after 3 years or service; 8 weeks’ pay after 5 years of service. 
Mileage: $0.45 per kilometre.

Editor’s notes: Property damage: Employees who suffer damages to personal property in normal course of duties will be reimbursed out-of-pocket expenses, maximum $500. Training expenses: $46 per day for out-of-town travel, meals. $16 per day for local training. $46 per day for emergency situations or when in-town supporting situations such as hospital stays. On-call: Employees will receive 1.15 hours added to comp bank for each day on-call. 10% pay for each 24-hour period on-call for employees on-call for short periods
