Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2016. Signed on Sept. 17, 2015.
Wage adjustments:
Effective April 1, 2015: 1.75%
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for shifts between 4 p.m. and midnight. $1.50 per hour for shifts between midnight and 8 a.m. 75¢ per hour for all hours worked between 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.
Paid holidays: 14 days. Time and one-half for any work performed on a designated day off.
Vacations with pay: 12 hours per 173 hours worked to start, 14 hours per 173 worked after 3 years, 16 hours per 173 worked after 5 years, 18 hours per 173 worked after 9 years, 20 hours per 173 worked after 14 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of regularly scheduled working hours.
Sick leave: Up to 173 hours.
Pension: 2% contributed by employee, 2% matching contribution from employer.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for the death of an employee’s father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster parent, grandparent, grandchild, sister, brother, stepsister, stepbrother, partner, child, stepchild, partner’s child, partner of employee’s child, stepchild or partner’s child, partner’s parent, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousin, stepgrandparents, stepaunt,stepuncle or any other person residing with the employee.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years given no further discipline has occurred.

Manager of Betty’s Haven: $33.58
Second stage co-ordinator: $24.36
Administrative assistant: $24.36
Childcare worker: $24.36
Outreach worker: $24.36
Transition home worker: $24.36
Editor’s notes: Yukon bonus: $1,500 for employee and $500 per child residing with employee, up to 3 children. Employees entitled to bonus after 1 year of employment. Long-service bonus: 2% bonus after 7 years of employment, 4% bonus after 10 years of employment.
