Why personality type matters with the return to the office
Research by The Myers-Briggs Company shows that forcing workers to be in the office more often than they want to be significantly increases the chance that they will leave their jobs.
In addition, the preferences for remote versus in-person work varies with personality type.
A successful strategy for retaining good employees and keeping them engaged and motivated needs to take account of their personality preferences and recognize that not everything works for everyone, including a company’s remote work policy and return-to-the-office strategy.
In this webinar, John Hackston, head of thought leadership at The Myers-Briggs Company, discusses his company’s research into the relationship between employee personality types and their preference for remote, hybrid, and in-person work.
He’s also discuss how employers can incorporate these findings into their return-to-work and retention strategies.
