Saskatchewan holds consultations on OHS legislative amendments

Proposed changes include levels of penalties, and alternative types of penalties

Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety is holding consultations on proposed amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Proposed amendments would include the sufficiency of the levels of penalties, benefits of alternative types of penalties and whether revenue collected from penalties should be partially redirected towards public education and prevention efforts.
