WCB of Nova Scotia compiling priority topics list

Board asking stakeholders to identify policy areas in need of review or development

The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia is in the process of compiling a list of potential topics that may be used to identify priority policy areas that will resource the Revolving Program Policy Agenda over a period of time.

The board of directors is looking for help with the process. Stakeholders and partners in the Workplace Safety and Insurance System (WSIS) are being asked to identify policy topics that may require review or development to assist the WCB and WSIS in achieving long-term goals and addressing service delivery issues.

The
WCB is particularly interested in identifying potential program policy topics that support its strategic goals of injury prevention and safe and timely return to work, said the board.

More information can be found at the WCB's website. Stakeholders are encouraged to use the WCB Program Policy Issue Template when submitting issues.

Policy topics must be submitted by July 11. They can be sent to: [email protected].
