Article archive and videos provide in-depth HR coverage
This issue of Canadian HR Reporter is packed with 32 pages of news, information and advice for human resources professionals. Yet, it represents just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the information and resources available to you as a subscriber.
That’s because your subscription to Canadian HR Reporter also includes unlimited access to www.hrreporter.com. Here are five reasons to visit the site often.
Article archive: Did you read something a few months — or even a few years — ago that you want to refer to, but you’ve already recycled the paper? No worries. The online archive features more than 7,000 articles dating back to mid-2000. The archives are searchable by keyword and topic area, so you’ll be able to dig up plenty of information.
If you haven’t already set up your password, it’s easy. When prompted to log in, just click on the link that says, “If you are a current subscriber, please click here to update your login information.” All that’s needed is your first name, last name and postal code from the mailing address.
If you run into any problems setting up the account, simply contact our customer relations department at (800) 387-5164 — (416) 609-3800 in Toronto — or email [email protected].
Plus, when you sign up, you’ll also receive SubscriberUpdate, our email service that goes out every two weeks to subscribers. It lets you know when the most recent issue has been posted on the website.
HR vendor directory: Looking for information on firms that sell products and services to employers? There’s no better place to start than HR Guide Online. You can access it via the button on the home page or go directly to www.hrreporter.com/HRGuide.aspx. It features searchable information on more than 1,000 vendors.
Job board: We’ve teamed up with the Human Resources Professionals Association to bring you Hire Authority. It features a range of jobs from across the country and you don’t need to be a member of Ontario’s HR association to access it. At press time, there were more than 130 positions posted on Hire Authority.
Video and blogs: There are more than 40 videos posted on Canadian HR Reporter TV and we’re just getting started. Shortly, we’ll be adding regular programming to the lineup, including a monthly employment law show hosted by Stuart Rudner. Plus there are our blogs on employment law, strategic HR and labour relations.
Bookstore: Looking for more in-depth information on human resources and compliance? Check out the Canadian HR Reporter bookstore. By going through the bookstore (www.hrreporter.com/books), you’ll find discounts on Carswell publications you can’t get anywhere else.
