Offers clients automated travel and expense management service
ADP, a provider of outsourced employer services, has partnered with Concur, a provider of on-demand employee spend-management services, to offer clients ADP ExPManager, an automated travel and expense management service.
“Lost receipts, miscalculations, ancient claims, out-of-policy business travel spending, questionable purchases, cutting cheques — these and other dreaded tasks associated with corporate travel and expense management can now become a thing of the past,” said an ADP release.
The product provides a way to manage and control the process of procuring, approving and reimbursing employees for corporate travel and related entertainment expenses. “Finance, human resources and accounting departments are often burdened by the management and policing of travel and expense policies when in fact they should be focusing on higher priority, strategic initiatives,” said Heather Nairn-Rand, vice-president of marketing and product management for ADP Canada.
The product automates each step of the travel and expense management process, including travel booking, expense submission, report preparation and approval, verification of policy compliance, employee reimbursement and analysis of expense data. Through the web-based service, companies can control employee travel spending at the time of procurement, then reconcile booked data with what was actually spent.
