CCHRA relocating to Toronto

Move from Ottawa likely to occur in early 2013

The Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA) is relocating its offices from Ottawa to Toronto. The association will move to the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA)’s offices at 150 Bloor Street West in Toronto, according to the HRPA in an email newsletter to members.

The CCHRA board made the decision after evaluating the cost and benefits of maintaining the Ottawa office and decided that the best long-term solution, offering both financial and operational synergies, would be to share space with HRPA, according to the HRPA.

The CCHRA represents the provincial HR associations and manages the National Knowledge Exam (NKE) required to obtain the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

CCHRA and HRPA have had similar office arrangements in the past. The move will likely occur in early 2013.
